God created us for relationship, and our lives are the journey into that relationship.
This vision is existential relational mysticism.
It joins two truths:
The Christian life is not merely belief or behavior; it is formation. You are being shaped into someone capable of union with God—the deepest purpose of your existence.
God does not force relationship. The journey of faith unfolds through choices to trust, open, yield, and receive.
It distorts the soul’s intended form. Salvation is God healing the interior life so love becomes possible again—not just changing our legal status.
The Incarnation, Cross, and Resurrection are God entering human life to repair what we cannot heal ourselves.
Psalm 23 is the map of inner formation. The “paths of righteousness” are spiritual disciplines understood as availability to grace.
Following Teresa of Ávila, the soul travels seven “mansions” of increasing intimacy, healing, and surrender.
Heaven is the fulfillment of relationship. Eternity is the soul living in the love it has become capable of receiving.
